Dr. Sarah Vair is a remotely based audiologist licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Washington. Originally from a small farming community in Northeastern Ohio, she earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Kent State University in 2007 and promptly moved to sunny South Carolina, which she has called home ever since.
Dr.Vair began her career in a busy ENT clinic, building a strong medical audiology foundation over eight years before transitioning to private practice in 2015 — where she found a setting that matched her values around individualized, relationship-based care. When the opportunity to practice remotely came along in 2024, it was a natural fit: a chance to bring the same quality, personalized care to patients wherever they are. Her move into tele-audiology reflected both her commitment to innovation and her belief that geography shouldn’t limit access to exceptional hearing care.
She holds a simple conviction: the best hearing care starts with listening — not just audiologically, but to the person sitting across from you.
