Daniel Hewson

Born and raised in Western New York, Dan Hewson brings more than 30 years of experience to the practice. He earned his master’s degree in speech and hearing handicapped from SUNY Fredonia and has worked in several of the country’s largest ear, nose, and throat practices, as well as a regional manager role with Siemens’ hearing division. He is a husband, a father, and a full-time member of the team, and he is continuing his studies toward a doctorate in audiology.

Dan was drawn to this work because he grew up with moderate to severe sensorineural hearing loss. He has followed hearing-device development, research, and rehabilitation for decades. If you want a clear picture of what hearing loss is really like, and how the right devices can change daily life, he is the person to ask. He has worn hearing aids since childhood (1977) and understands the hesitation many people feel about starting rehabilitation. His own experience with hearing devices is practical and reassuring for anyone unsure about the next step.
